Improvements to Housekeeping Permissions

The following changes related to permissions are implemented in Stay for housekeeping setup, creating housekeeping conditions and inventory blocks:

Staff and Capacity

Stay_ReadHKStaffMembers

• The existing ReadStaffMembers permission is renamed to Stay_ReadHKStaffMembers.

• Users with this permission can view the following sections in the Housekeeping Setup screen:

  • Staff (Off-Duty/On-Duty)

  • Staff (Setup)

  • Capacity (Setup)

Stay_WriteHKStaffMembers

• The existing WriteStaffMembers permission is renamed to Stay_WriteHKStaffMembers

• Users with this permission can add or modify date in the following sections in the Housekeeping Setup screen:

  • Staff (Off-Duty/On-Duty)

  • Staff (Setup)

  • Capacity (Setup)

Pattern

Stay_ReadHKPatternSetup

• Users with this permission can view the Patterns and Length of Stay section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKPattern_Setup

• Users with this permission can add or modify Patterns and Length of Stay section in the Housekeeping Setup screen and in the General Settings tab of the Pet Set Up screen (Settings à All Settings à Pets).

Order and Sections

Stay_ReadHKOrderSectionsSetup

• Users with this permission can view the Order & Sections section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKOrderSectionsSetup

• Users with this permission can add or modify date in the Order &Sections section in Housekeeping Setup screen.

Services

Stay_ReadHKServicesSetup

• Users with this permission can view the Services section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKServicesSetup

• Users with this permission can add/modify the Services in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

HK Guest Services Types

Stay_ReadHKGuestServicesSetup

• Users with this permission can view the HK Guest Services Types section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKGuestServicesSetup

• Users with this permission can add/modify the HK Guest Services Types in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Conditions

Stay_ReadHKConditionsSetup

• Users with this permission can view the Conditions section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKConditionsSetup

• Users with this permission can add/modify the Conditions sections in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Roles

Stay_ReadHKRolesSetup

• Users with this permission can view the Roles section in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Stay_WriteHKRolesSetup

• Users with this permission can add/modify the Roles sections in the Housekeeping Setup screen.

Assign

Stay_ReadHKStaffAssign

• Users with this permission can view the Assign section in Housekeeping Setup screen and guest services assignment.

Stay_WriteHKStaffAssign

• Users with this permission can assign staffs for service requests in Assign section in Housekeeping screen and in the following screens where staff assignment is done:

  • Rooms Management - > Housekeeping

  • Rooms Management -> Housekeeping - >Home

  • Rooms Management - > Request Service

  • Reservation

HK Condition

Stay_WriteHousekeepingCondition

• Users with this permission can update housekeeping conditions in HK Condition section in Housekeeping screen and in the following sections:

  • Rooms Management à Request Service

  • Rooms Management à Housekeeping à Assign (both unassigned and assigned service requests)

  • Rooms Management à Housekeeping à Home à Assigned Services

    • Rooms Management à Inventory Blocks

  • Tape Chart

  • Reservation

  • Book Reservation (modal)

  • Reservations à Search à Rooms

  • During Check Out (Check Out Reservation modal)

Inventory Blocks

InventoryOOO

• Users with this permission can create, edit or print Out of Order (OOO) inventory blocks in Inventory Blocks section in Housekeeping screen, Tape Chart and Create Maintenance Service Request screen.

InventoryOnHold

• Users with this permission can create, edit or print On Hold inventory blocks in Inventory Blocks section in Housekeeping screen, Tape Chart and Create Maintenance Service Request screen.

Users must have the existing ReadHousekeeping permission as mandatory to be able to view all the sections in the Housekeeping screen. Users can use the new permissions along with the existing mandatory permission. The new permissions must be added to the roles to which the existing ReadHousekeeping and the WriteHousekeeping permissions are mapped.
